Singapore zoo outing

Visited the Singapore with my wife on Sunday as the weather was great...not too hot as it rains earlier on. Took some shots on the animals with the new techniques which i've pick up from Haw Par Villa the day before.

Photography outing at Haw Par Villa

A trip to Haw Par Villa which i've enrolled myself for a photography field course. We had our instructor, Karen Lucas whereby i was inspired by her work from the web. You can also log on to her website to see some of her beautiful works. It's http://www.baobabphotography.com/

She's always there to advice and help out the participants

That's Karen Lucas giving some of her advice and recommendations on capturing images

Here are some photos of the happiest moment in my life...the day i got married to this beautiful lady ( now my wife ) on the 8th Oct 2008. We had families, relatives and friends from overseas who actually flew in to celebrate our wedding ceremony. After the church matrimony we had a traditional chinese ceremony since my wife is a chinese. We had this ceremony called " Pang Teh " where the bride and the groom will be serving tea to the elders. And in exchange of that, the elders will be giving out " Ang Pow " known as a money gift to the newly wed couple...( more money was collected on that day...hehe ) Photos were taken by some buddies of mine...

Went down to Boat Quay a few days ago since the weather was good and was also excited to try out my new stuff on the camera...especially the new setting which i've just learn form the book. Wasn't sure if the photos turn out alright but it was worth a try...
